Generalizability is the degree to which your findings can be generalized from a study sample to the entire population. The larger the sample population you use, the more one can draw a generalization from the results. Your paper will contribute to generalizable knowledge if, for example, the information expands the knowledge base of a scientific discipline or scholarly field of study.
