Hello Brissa. the impact of the Civil War in the federal government is huge because now so much money is bring wasted in guns, rifles, soldiers, and weapons. This creates a debt in the country because now you are wasting so much money just to have these materials just to win the war. Then, after the war the country was devesated and it is because of Reconstruction. In the South was almost all of the war it was barely in the South which is why slavery is so huge in this war and the federal government had to repair all the damages which affected the US a lot economically wise.
