It may help to know what these words are and how they can be used in a sentence before you do anything else.
- Chronic: something persistent or long-lasting (Ex: "They have chronic back pain.")
- Conviction: a firmly held belief or opinion; a formal declaration of someone's guilt (Ex: "They lacked conviction.")
- Ebbing: (an emotion or quality) lessening (Ex: "Their enthusiasm was slowly ebbing away.")
- Impede: delay or prevent by obstructing them; hinder (Ex: "Failure to study diligently may impede learning.")
- Manifest: display or show (a quality or feeling) by one's acts or appearance; become apparent (Ex: "The disorder usually manifests in the elderly.")
- Integrate: combine to make a whole; bring into equal participation (Ex: "Activists worked to integrate schools so that all students regardless of color or background may learn.")
- Phenomenon: a fact or situation that can be observed, especially one whose cause or explanation is in question ("Ex: They dedicated their lives to the study of this phenomenon.")
- Imperceptibly: in a way that is so slight, gradual, or subtle as not to be perceived (Ex: "The student smiled imperceptibly upon learning her answer was correct.")
Now that you know what the words mean, do you see any connections between them?
I won’t write your story, but I can provide an example of what I mean by connections between the words. The words integrate and impede might remind you of chronic or historical issues such as discrimination so we can use these words to say, “In the early 1950s, racial segregation of schools impeded on people of color’s education. People dedicated their lives to integrating schools and providing access to an equitable education.”
The connection you find can be the topic/theme for your story.
Write your story to suit that topic/theme, making sure to include the five basic elements of a story (characters, setting, plot, conflict, and resolution).
I hope this helps and good luck writing your story!
