I'm currently attending UAH. My major is mechanical engineering.
The 1st step in this is to find the number of blue cars. To find the number of blue cars, you multiply .35 * 80 = 28 blue cars.
Then you add 16 brown cars + 28 blue cars = 44 cars not red.
Then you need to do the following eqn: 80 cars (total) - 44 (not red) = 36 red cars
So, you numerical answer will be 36 red cars. The percent will be 36 red cars / 80 total cars = .45 = 45 %
The percent answer for the amount of red cars will be 45 %.
