y = mx + b is the graphing equation, where m is the slope in the form (change of y)/(change of x)
and b is the y-intercept.
for y = 6x the slope is 6/1 and the y-intercept is 0, so start at (0, 0) and go up 6 and right 1, mark that point and connect with and through (0,0)
