3y-1 Top and bottom of the fraction =1 (so

y²+1 All of the Fraction is Equaled to 1) can’t put the

equal sign next to it to 1. Having issues on here but I need to find all real solutions and make sure to check for extraneous solutions.

3y - 1 = y² +1

0 = y² - 3y + 2

0 = (y - 2)(y - 1)

y ∈ {1, 2}
