If (3x+5y)/x = 2, then 2x + 10y = ?
(3x + 5y)/x = 2 solve for y in first equation and substitute into the 2nd equation
3x + 5y = 2x
5y = 2x-3x
y = - x/5............................here with y expressed in terms of x, you can sub into 2nd equation for evaluation
2x + 10 (-x/5) =
2x - 2x = 0
---check-----
2x = -10y......x = -5y.......3*-5y + 5y = 2x.....-15y+5y = 2x....-10y=2x....2x+10y = 0
If (3x+5y)/x = 2, then 2x+10y = 0
