3 to 2 girls to boys

There are 25 students in a classroom. The ratio of girls to boys is 3 to 2. How many boys and how many girls are there in the classroom?

If there are 3 boys to every 2 girls, you can multiple the 25 by (3/5). 

 

This will give you the number of boys (15)

 

You then subtract 15 from 25 (25-15) and that leaves you with 10
