Circumference equals pi times diameter, so diameter equals circumference divided by pi. 25,000 divided by 3.14 equals 7,961.

Circumference = 2*pi*r
pi = 3.14
6.28r = 25,000 miles
radius = 3,980.39
diameter = 2r = 7,961.78 miles
