Elementary and Algebraic skilled
d = rt (distance equals rate * time)
We know d, we know t to your sister's place, so we need to find the rate:
d / t = r
370 mi/10 hr = r
37 mi/hr = r
So you're driving at about 37 mph
Now to Denver:
703 mi = 37 mi/hr * t
Divide by 37 mph:
703 mi / 37 mi/hr = t
miles cancel, and hour being in the denominator of a divisor flips to the other side into the quotient:
703 hr / 37 = t
19 hours = t
