asked 03/03/20e/r=i solve for r
why can't you multiply by 1/e to both sides? I got r = i/e but the equations aren't equivalent.

e/r = i
Multiply both sides by r and get
e = ir
Divide both sides by i and get
e/i = r
r = e/i

Multiplying both sides by 1/e gives 1/r=i/e. You need to also take the reciprocal of both sides and get r=e/i.03/03/20
