If 6 liters of a 5% vinegar solution is mixed with x liters of a 30% vinegar solution, the result is a 25% vinegar solution. How many liters of the 30% vinegar solution were mixed?

.3 + .30x = 1.5 + .25x

.30x-.25x = 1.5 - .3

.05x = 1.2

x = 1.2/.05 =24 liters of 30% vinegar solution
