asked 02/23/20Write a polynomial function of least degree in standard form that has rational coefficients, a leading coefficient of 1, with roots of 0, 2, and 3 squared
I really need help, polynomial functions by itself are hard but with the addition of the square root I’m lost

That just means you'll have 3 twice.
(x - 3)(x - 3)
A root of 0 is x - 0, buuuuut we just write that as x.
Two as a root.
(x - 2)
So, we have x(x - 2)(x - 3)(x - 3).
Multiply all that out and combine like terms for your answer.
Yoooooou got this!

The wording of this question is confusing. I think you meant to say that root 3 has a multiplicity of 2. As worded, the question says 3 squared is a root, i.e. 9 is a root, and I do not think that is what you meant to say.02/23/20
