(6/5)/(3/7) = X/(7/7) the ratio of paint needed for part of a floor = paint need for all the floor

(3/7)X = 6/5

X = (6/5)(7/3) = 42/15 = 2 4/5 gallons total for all the floor = 2.8 gal.
