Someone who is courageous would act with daring or fearlessness whether or not anyone else was looking on. An audience does not matter to them. For example, if a cat was stuck in a tree and nobody was around, a courageous person would bravely climb the tree and rescue the cat.
An attention seeker would act differently depending on who is watching, or would seek to let people know exactly what they did and when. If courage would get them attention, they would be courageous in that moment -- they would rescue the cat ONLY if someone else could SEE them rescuing the cat. At other times, they may act in silly ways, or dumb ways, if that is the kind of behavior that would best attract eyeballs (or, in our modern day world, YouTube Views and Likes!).
