Could you please restate your question? I would like to help.

Maryam, If I am understanding your question correctly, you administered the Big Five to your participants, have obtained individual scores on the Big Five (mean, SD), and are wondering what normative group to use to compare your results. Assuming I understand your question, I am wondering if you asked the individuals who were administered the Big Five about their birth order (first born, middle born, last born)? If so, you need to obtain the frequency count each of each birth group for your sample (I.e., of the people you gave the Big Five to, how many were first born, how many second born, etc.). Next, you would plot the SD of the Big Five results you have with the number of participants in your sample in each birth group. Based on your histogram, you can then compare your findings with the Big Five standardized norms found in the Big Five manual. I hope this helps. Feel free to reach out again if you are still stuck. Ma'am I'm working on a mini research paper and my topic is Effect of Birth Order on Big Five Personality Traits.I used the Big Five Inventory Questionnaire to collect the Data from about 300+ students (age range 18-25).Further more I have calculated the score for each individual and calculated the mean and standard deviations.I'm unable to decide which norms I have to compare the results with.(The final result analysis have to be histograms plotted with birth order on x-axis and S.D on y-axis).Kindly guide me if there is some norm range according to the birth order or any formula I can use to deduce the norms.02/11/20
