Industrialization caused the expansion of the middle class, and, eventually, an increase in the standard of living.
Factories required more managers, who were middle class, and foremen and skilled mechanics (to repair machines), who became a very conservative upper lower class/working class.
There was also an increased demand for bankers, lawyers, scientists, and engineers who also were members of the middle class.Technology and invention were becoming more and more important, so were legal and financial issues surrounding the increase of industry.
You need to know why this happened, and it's there in your textbook and other sources.
