The coronavirus epidemic is now officially a worldwide pandemic. The government has the authority to ensure this does not devastate Americans, complacency will infuriate the population. Precise action to abate the disease needs to be taken immediately by an agent with impartial power to govern. The government has acknowledged their power to control the situation, but is yet to start the long trek for a solution. When will the government step in? When people riot? When landlords evict their tenants and call their leases a sham? Is the population industrious enough to beat this disease? Is our response even irrelevant? There is no way to make an estimate, nothing in modern history prepared us for this.
