There are a lot of irregular preterites and it's important to practice them often. The irregulars have the same endings
-e
-iste
-o
-imos
-isteis
-ieron or eron if the stem is j (dij(decir) traj(traer) conduj(conducir)
^notice no accents.
Sr. jordan has a fun useful song for the irregulars (all except tomar)
dar is even more irregular (di, diste, dio, dimos, disteis, dieron)
similar to ver^ (vi viste vio vimos visteis vieron)
The -ar verbs conjugate as normal
-é, -aste -ó, -amos, -asteis, -aron.
With regular verbs in the preterite, the accent goes on yo and él/ella/usted

Di and dio take no accent, actually. But Dalia, this seems like homework. I suggest you read your textbook and then attempt to complete the exercise.01/17/20
