Look at the graph of f(x). Look at f(0) (i.e. f(x) where x=0), y is -1 there. That means -f(x) will be +1 at x=0 (or just 1, I added the plus sign for emphasis). Next look at f(2), that value is -3, that means -f(x) will be +3 at x=2.. Repeat this process until you have enough points to draw the lines.
What you should notice is that y=-f(x) is a reflection of f(x) about the x-axis.
