American History Will Come Alive For You!
The colonists before the American Revolution were seriously divide in their loyalties.. Britain already had soldiers in the Americas who were constantly pulling the quartering act that commanded colonists to let these soldiers stay in the home until the soldiers had to go elsewhere to police the colonists. Thanks to George Washington (whose biggest success was on Christmas Day after crossing the Delaware, when the enemy troops had had way too much to drink. A great number of these shoulders were German Hessians who hired on as tough, self-driven mercenaries. Still, despite this great victory for the colonies, which wore out the British, we all must thank Lafayette for truly winning this war for us! I am not saying everything was rosy after that; inflaion was high, so high that a barber wallpaperd his establishment with the worthless dollars.
Eventually, the former colonists would come together together as kindred patriots to draft legislation allowing its citizens to have life, liberty and the pursuit of happiiness, as George Washington exclaimed in his inaugural address, though many wanted to make a king, not a president, because kings seemed to them to have all the power, while a "president" may not!
