C. The passive voice removes the subject of the sentence, "you." Passive voice allows an action to be described without stating who/what is responsible for the action - in all of these cases except C, "you" or "someone" is completing an action. In C, the action only needs to be done, and it doesn't matter who is responsible for it.

One of the best tips that I have seen when determining passive voice in a sentence is to add the phrase "by zombies" after the verb. If the sentence makes sense with the added phrase, it's using passive voice.

This also makes it very easy to remember how to identify passive voice in writing!

Of the answers you provided, "C" is the only correct one. It should be noted that food and the first aid kit are supplies and listing them is redundant. I would suggest that a better answer would be: "The supplies must be packed before the camping trip."
