I'm interpreting the problem as finding the hypotenuse of a 45-45-90 degree triangle having a leg length of 45.5 feet.
Use the Pythagoras' Formula c2 = a2 + b2.
In 45-45-90 degree triangles, a = b, so
c2 = a2 + a2 = 2a2
Thus C2 = 2(45.5)2
C = 45.5 * sqrt(2) = 64.3 feet.
