I 5/x - 2/7 =7 a linear equation?

15/x - 2/7 = 7 is not a linear equation, b/c linear refers to an relationship of y vs. x. If you had said that that equation referred to a line, then we could go somewhere. But as it is, it just states an equality for x ~ 2 . I suppose you could make a vertical line there, on the x-y plane.
