As is the case with many countries throughout the world, Argentina may experience multiple climates/micro-climates in many different regions of the country. Especially due to the size of the country as it spans over 2200 miles N-S and about 900 miles E-W. For reference, Seattle, Washington to San Diego, California is only 1200 miles.
It could be argued that Argentina experiences up to 12-15 different types of climate zones/types throughout it's territory with arid desert (cold) and temperate climates making up a vast majority.
