Your formula for a perimeter of a triangle is p=a+b+c
for this equation you need to find a denominator that is in common with all three fractions (Hint: It is always a multiple of the smallest denominator)
so here, they can all be multiplied to have a 6 in the denominator position. To get the top number you multiply it by the same number that it takes to get the former denominator to a 6. EX: 1*2/3*2=2/6
Try it yourself before looking down
3 2/6 + 4 1/6 + 5 3/6
Now you can simply add to solve.
3 2/6 + 4 1/6 = 7 3/6 + 5 3/6 = 12 6/6 or 13
