How can you get 4.5 from the equation 3(3x-7)-5x=-39 when it's clearly wrong?

I took a test yesterday about Algebra 1 and got this wrong while getting an answer of 4.5. I've been trying to remember what I did yesterday because I'm trying to make a reflection and need to get this done by tomorrow being 10/16/2019. Like I said, I'm trying to remember what I did but there's nothing that has to do with decimals besides dividing. Again, like I said before, I need this by tomorrow being 10/16/2019 so I'm kind of in a hurry but I would appreciate the response anyway so that I can still reflect on my answer.

3(3x - 7) - 5x = -39

9x - 21 - 5x = -39

4x = -18

x = -4.5
