Algebra word problem

Lena has 80 stickers. she gives 5m stickers to her friends and shares the remaining stickers equally with her 2 brothers.


a. how many stickers does she give each brother in terms of m?

b. if m 4, how many stickers does each brother get?

Go back and look at the part above where I say "Now we have an expression to represent how many stickers each brother got." ;) An "expression" is just a fancy math word to say "the way we can express a value in terms of a variable or multiple variables." M is your variable, so this expression is in terms of m. Make sense?
