Use a calculator. You can find some free on line. or on your cell phone
Another possible easier way is to convert division to multiplication, by inverting the divisor This is a method for fractions. 1/2 divided by 1/4 is the same as 1/2 times 4/1 or (1/2)(4)=4/2=2
If you want to divide 393 by 6, or two similar numbers that share a common factor, then cancel out the
common factor before dividing. 393 and 6 both have a common factor of 3, so 393/6 =131/2 = 65.5
Canceling common factors can often make the division much easier, which also reduces mistakes.
You can recognize some basic common factors such as 2, when both numbers are even, or 4 if the last two digits are divisible by 4, or 3 if the sum of digits of a number is a number divisible by 3. or two number are divisible by 5 if the numbers end in a 5 or 0. or 6, if the numbers are divisible by 3 and by 2, or 8 if the numbers are divisible by 4 and 2, or 9 if the sum of the digits is a number divisible by 9
