Define cultural extinction. And what impact does globalization have on poor cultures. Please provide one example that has happened during the period of globalization. Please do not discuss societies.

Cultural extinction is the disappearance of cultural diversity. As we become a more globalized society our cultures start blending and becoming less distinct. For example poorer cultures are inundated by more westernized wealthy cultures, the people of those cultures are overwhelmed with new and diffeent things, often welcomed or not.

Cultural diversity is incorrect terminology. Reference an Anthropology book. And, it is not overwhelmed by western cultures, it is the push from the UN, World Bank and USAID to catch up and to accept western business that rape the land and people paying low, low wages and extracting valuable resources. Leaving the culture nothing that they identify with or have developed over many centuries before western dogma ever developed.
