So, the 3 factors on earth are m, g, & h.

Think of this as mass, gravity, & distance.

Outside the the sphere of earth, Potential Energy is expressed as -(GMm)/r²

G = Gravitational Constant, M = mass of object 1, m = mass of object 2, & r = distance between the objects

In this case, the three factors are still mass, gravity, & distance.
