If they have to be next to their specific genres, think of each genre as one book (since they have to be next to each other) -- in effect you have "3" books, and you arrange them in 3! ways. Now within each genre, you could reorder the books: Nonfiction - 2! Fiction - 3! Biography - 2! Using multiplication rule, you have: 3! 2! 3! 2! = 144 ways
