I have a articles by the same author but published in different years do I do something different ? oDo I just use their name and Year when the year of the publications are different ?

It depends on the system you're using (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago).

Your citations should not be different. You may cite the author's name and year for each respective article. You just need to make sure that your references page includes both articles. The reader should be able to use the references page to match each citation with each article. Good luck!
