To make orange juice from concentrate powder, you need to mix 2.5 teaspoons of the concentrate in 16 ounces of water. How much concentrate powder do you need for 1 gallon of water?

1 gallon of water equals 128 ounces

2.5/16=x/128

you can cross multiply

16x=2.5*128

16x=320

x=320/16

x=20 teaspoons

or...

2.5/16=x/128

16*8=128, so...

2.5*8=20 teaspoons again

So you need 128*2.5/16 spoons = 20 spoons of concentrate
