It relates to globalization in many capacities, whether from the influence it's had on businesses that operate internationally to our understanding of the global economy via AI-based tools that help us to better understand information.
Focusing on the latter, AI (which is an ambiguous, if not dangerous term) has empowered technologies that allow us to better understand questions such as "Where should an American company like Target open 200 new stores abroad?" or "How is COVID-19 spreading and why?" or "how can we get this automated car to drive across national borders within the EU without skipping a beat?"
