py+7=6y+q solve for y

Why do I get a different answer than the one posted here: https://www.wyzant.com/resources/answers/423217/py_7_6y_q_solve_for_y when I start by moving all 'y' terms to the right side? Is this an order of operations mistake?

py+7 = 6y+q

-py -py

7 = 6y+q-py

-q -q

7-q = 6y-py

7-q = y(6-p)

(6-p) (6-p)

7-q = y

6-p
