Greetings! Lets solve this shall we?
So, we must find out how many gallons of fuel she used! So, we take the total number of gallons used
Total Gallons = Number of Gallons used + Number of Gallons she has left
28.07 gallons = x gallons + 2.9 gallons........Then we subtract the 2.9 gallons from the 28.07 such that
x = 25.17 gallons used!
I hope this helped!
