Lets assume  apricots as -a KG's  and peaches as - p  KG's

 

apricots cost $8/kg ,  then total cost acpricots = a*8

peaches cost $6/kg , then total cost peaches = p*6

 

Given that  a+p = 20 kgs

                 a*8+p*6 = 20*7.2

                (20-p)*8 + 6p = 144

                 160-8p+6p = 144

                      2p = 16 --> p = 8

 

a+8 = 20--> a=12
