Practical thinking is using your resources around you and adapting to your surroundings in order to reach a goal. An example would be while you are cooking and you don't have all the ingredients to a recipe. You can determine which ingredients to substitute for the missing ones to produce a similar result. Visual thinking is using pictures, diagrams, maps, etc. to explain things. For example, you can draw a map for someone to get from their house to yours. Theoretical thinking is using a theory to try to get a result. For example, when doing experiments in science classes, you use theories in order to get the results you want in your experiment.
