You've got to get the distance between the points That is side "c". By using the formula: a^2+b^2=c^2; it'll happen. "a" is shortest distance; "b" mid length; "c" hypotenuse.
Now that "c" is the base; you'll have the 2 angles to work with; that is a,s,a. The angles are labeled (greek letters): alpha, opposite side "a"; beta opposite "b"; gamma "c".
So a/(sin α)=b/(sin β)=c/(sin γ).
Since you have side "c"; figure "γ' for (c/(sin γ)). That is 180-α-β=γ. You can use either side to get your distance.
