29.25/11.25 =
4hrs*2.60...=10.40
3.25hrs*2.60 = 8.45
Steve and Jerry each get 10.40
Ron gets 8.45
10.40+10.40+8.45 = 29.25

Let the amount paid per hour is A.
Time of work is 4 hour. 45 minute is 3/4(45/60) hour.
Amount of time Ron worked is 4-.75 hour.
Steve got 4A
Jerry got 4A
but, Ron got 3A + .25A
4A + 4A + 3A + .25A = 29.25
11.25A = 29.25
A = 2.6
Amount Ron got is 3A + .25A = 3.25A = 3.25x2.6 = $8.45

Anamika, your math doesn't use the correct number of significant digits for money math. Money math requires significance of at least 2 decimal places when making calculations.
