An man who was exiled from Cuba, returned from time in Mexico to declare dictatorship in order to help the people come out of poverty. Instead the socialist properties of the ideas put the people in oppression to a point that they could not communicate with the world. They have been cut off from the world's technology so that they can evolve their own technology on their own. They have helped other countries to break away from global dependency. Their citizens are allowed to travel if the government can place education or a job for them before travel. Their children take tests to see where they excel, and then are told they must study this topic. Most Cubans who travel outside do not wish to return, but hadn't realized their oppression until leaving. Because of Cuba's help to other countries who would like to learn from them, people don't like to criticize too much. But older people reminisce about the time when anyone could travel to and from Cuba.
