If you mean that the Spanish from Spain, when compared to other Spanish dialects, is more emphatic on those diphthongs, I don't think so. I have interacted with a lot of people from Spain, and those word combinations you pointed out don't seem very important. If you are traveling to Spain, the most important thing you have to care about is the pronunciation of the letter S, C, Z, and J.
If you are thinking more grammatically, then we have to talk about diphthongs, Hiatus, and rules of accenting.
