There are 30 letters total in the Spanish language. Similar to the English language, there are five vowels (a, e, i, o, u), but it is different in that there are 25 consonants. In addition to the list of constants for the English language, the Spanish language has ch (between c and d), ll (between land m), ñ (between n and o), and rr (between r and s).
