Are nucleic acids found in cell membranes?

I've found various results online and I was recently marked in on an important test as wrong when I made the assumption they were not found in the cell membrane. Does anyone know what the correct answer is in this case? Thanks in advance.

Your assumption is correct as nucleic acids are not found in cell membrane. They are not a structural component in the cell membrane. They are only found in ribosomes and the nucleus as either DNA or RNA.

I do not know if this was an error on the teacher's part or not, but I would respectfully take this up with the teacher. This could cause students in the class to become confused later on in their academic studies.
