Hi Xander,
I think your problem asked if you spent $1.00 on 6 sodas (that have 6 oz in each), how much does 1 soda cost?
To find the answer I divide $1.00 by 6. The tricky part of this answer is knowing what to do with the repeating decimal of .16666666667. Rounding it up will give you an answer that is more than your $1.00, so I think it's best to stick with a unit price of $0.16, knowing you will pay an extra $0.04. In the US, you can't split a penny.
