I believe this question can be applied to all of the languages in the world. Think of your native language ( if you still know it :) ) it is probably more natural to you than, let's say, a new language. You are used to the word forms, the grammar, formal writing, the slang language, how it relates to the culture socially, politically, and religiously.
That is what the benefit of being a "Native Speaker" is all about. Even if the new language is similar in construction to your native language, it will never be treated the same way.
