The Battle of Gettysburg was important for it was the turning point in the Civil War. The Battle of Gettysburg was a 3-day fight. The Battle of Gettysburg was General Lee's second invasion of the North. The battle crippled many of the Confederate soldiers leaving the South vulnerable, which led to the North winning the Civil War.
