Take your language skills to the next level!
For decades, pupils in Romanian have started studying their first foreign language in primary school and ther second foreign language in middle school. English-French is the most widespread combination, but some schools start with French and introduce English in middle school. German is the third most widely taught foreign language. Spanish and Italian are also offered in some districts. Also, keep in mind that Romanian law makes provisions for instructing ethnic minorities in their native language, so Hungarian and German-descended students often study those languages at the same level as Romanian.
