How has Asia escaped poverty?

Although they do have far to go, Asia has clearly made massive progress in the past 70 years and I want to understand how they did it. Especially places like India and Bangladesh where there are more 2 children families and people can afford education.

Yes, progress has been made in these two countries but I challenge you to look at hard data from either United Nations, World Bank, or CIA World Fact Book. The World Bank puts 24.3% of Bangladesh's population living below poverty. Whereas, the international rate is 14.8% ( Retrieved June 5, 1028 from https://databank.worldbank.horg/data/download/poverty/33EF03BB-9722-4AE2-ABC7-AA2972D68AFE/Global_POVEQ_BGD.pdf).
